The four month trip took place from June until September 2005, ready in time for my final year at Staffs Uni. I decided to go through Camp America to find me an amazing summer camp called Emma Kaufmann. The camp was situated in West Virgina, near a little place called Morgantown, where we stayed at HOMO (Hotel Morgan) on our days off. I had an amazing 10 weeks at EKC and made some life lasting friendships. I hope all the returning staff have even more of an amazing summer for 2006! I was a general counsellor looking after between 6 and 12 year olds down in the Park! Once camp was over it was time to hit the road. I originally had planned to do a cross country trek from east to west with Trek America. However, once the idea of a California Road Trip was in my head, there was no going back! This was an awesome trip along with Mikey, Dave Chris, Chal and Sivan. The van was picked up at LAX and we were all set. We stopped at:
Once the road trip was over, it was time to fly back to New York City and to greyhound the rest of the way. This time was spent visiting friends made at camp and another road trip up to canada. The following places were visitied whilst i was still in the US:

The cash ran out which meant i couldnt go to some of the places i had hoped such as Detroit, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, Seattle and New England. Well, there's always next time!
